Loyalty Membership
The use of the moviebuys card is governed by the below terms and conditions.
- United Cinemas reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time.
- In order to use the moviebuys card, it must be activated online via the moviebuys website.
- The annual membership fee is $25.00 per 12 months from the date of joining.
- Member Web Account activation must be done online. We do not accept Web Account activation in person.
- For each Standard ticket purchased, the member will receive 10 points.
- For each Grand Recliner ticket purchased, the member will receive 20 points.
- For every 50 points, a member can redeem one Standard movie ticket.
- For every 100 points, a member can redeem one Grand Recliner movie ticket.
- In order to gain points, the card must be presented at the time of purchase to the staff member.
- It is the responsibility of the member to keep their account information up to date (email address, contact number, address). This can be done via this website.
- Only one card may be issued per person. Any false activation of cards by the same person will be canceled, and points will be revoked.
- The card at all times remains the property of United Cinemas.
- Terms of use, eligibility and age restriction may vary from location to location please check with the box office staff on the day.
- Awarded points can not be used for movies with no complimentary or no free ticket restrictions, please check if these restrictions apply to a movie session by visiting www.unitedcinemas.co.nz.
